Chet P. Hewitt named chair of Public Policy Institute of California Board of Directors

Public Policy Institute of California President and CEO Mark Baldassare today announced Chet P. Hewitt’s term as the Institute’s board chair. “Chet’s distinguished record of public service and deep knowledge of the forces shaping our state make him an ideal leader for PPIC at this critical time,” Baldassare said. Youth and Community PopUps relaunch for Summer 2022!

Sierra Health Foundation and The Center have granted $127,500 to fund 23 Youth and Community PopUps partners for summer activities. Together, these community-based organizations will relaunch the successful Youth and Community PopUps program during the summer break — a time when youth are most vulnerable.
