Conference and Education Center
Sierra Health Foundation’s Conference and Education Center includes three meeting rooms and a lobby for pre-function activities. A large terrace and walking paths are ideal for small workgroups or activities. Enjoy our video tour of the Conference and Education Center (YouTube.com).

Meeting Rooms and Capacity

Bannon Island

The largest and most versatile, the Bannon Island room is an impressive space with easy access to the terrace and views of the Sacramento River.

Size: 2,392 square feet
Banquet/Reception seating accommodates up to 80.
Alternative room configurations must be approved by the Conference and Education Center Manager.

Equipment available: podium, computer, wireless keyboard and mouse, microphones (hand-held and lavaliere), LCD projector, screen, teleconferencing, flip charts, WiFi, panel tables

Capital

The Capital room is ideal for board meetings, with fixed hollow-square seating and fixed audio/visual equipment.

Size: 945 square feet
Conference seating accommodates up to 22. Room capacity is 25.

Equipment available: Computer, wireless keyboard and mouse, flat panel TV, teleconferencing, flip charts, WiFi

Natomas

An interior space with access to the Capital room, the Natomas room accommodates small meetings or can be used as an alternate dining area for small meetings.

Size: 500 square feet
Conference seating accommodates up to 15.

Equipment available: Apple TV, laptop, LCD projector, wireless keyboard and mouse, white board, flip charts, WiFi

Accessibility

The conference center’s meeting rooms, restrooms and terrace are wheelchair accessible.

Equipment

Conference center staff can provide instruction on the operation of the conference center’s equipment, but staff is not available to operate equipment or resolve software issues. If additional assistance is needed, the conference center staff can recommend local consultants.
