Social Determinants of Health discussion

We're pleased to welcome Dr. Richard Pan to Sierra Health Foundation on July 1 from 10 a.m. to noon for a discussion about the Social Determinants of Health.
Dr. Pan will talk about the factors other than health care that influence health, including a person's socioeconomic condition, environment, education, income and individual behavior choices — factors that have come to be known as the Social Determinants of Health. With a belief that there is much more to health than health care, as a foundation we have integrated the Social Determinants of Health into our grantmaking, and we look forward to offering this learning opportunity for nonprofit organizations and public agencies in our region.
