Conference Center Policies

Sierra Health Foundation Conference Center
Hours of Operation
Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday Closed

Admission Fees

Organizations holding events at the conference center may charge admission or meeting fees only to cover direct meeting costs, such as for materials and meals.

Animals

Guide dogs or other assistance animals for people with disabilities are the only animals allowed in the conference center.

Cancellations

The conference manager must be notified of cancellations at least three business days before the event.

Cell phones

All event participants are asked to keep their cell phones turned off or on vibrate mode during meetings. Cell phones may be used in the lobby and in outdoor areas.

Corporate Sponsorships

Organizations using the conference center may use corporate sponsorships to cover direct event expenses; however, they must be approved by the conference manager in advance.

Media

Organizations that invite or expect news media at an event must notify the conference manager at least two business days before the event.

Parking

Conference center parking is limited. Meeting participants are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation. Off-site parking is available on River Plaza Drive, one block from the building. Parking is not allowed along Garden Highway.

Smoking

The conference center is a nonsmoking facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, including the parking lot.

Use Restrictions

The conference center is available to nonprofit organizations whose vision and goals are compatible with Sierra Health’s. The center is not available for commercial, political, private or religious events. Nondenominational faith-based organizations with goals compatible to Sierra Health’s are welcome to use the center.
